About
I created CoziQueen so I could share that heart-warming feeling of every season through soft, natural textures, comforting scents, and thoughtfully chosen décor that captures the essence of cozy. Whether you're curled up by the fire with your favorite book or cooking Sunday dinner with your favorite music playing in the background, it's the little things that make a house feel like home. Those small details have always brought me joy. As life gets busier, I've found myself chasing that sensation again, the feeling of slowing down, breathing a little deeper, and finding joy in the simple things. CoziQueen is my way of sharing that feeling with you. I hope the things you find here help make your home a place you never want to leave. Because I've always believed that, no matter the season, it's better at home.
Growing up in a rural area on the East Coast, we spent many chilly nights by the fire and long, hot summer days creek stomping and exploring the countryside right outside our doorstep. There were horses, chickens, dogs, and more barn cats than we could keep track of. During those summer months, we picked berries that lined the roads and ate them by the fistful. In the fall, we raced our bikes through bee-laden landmines of smashed apples that had fallen onto our driveway. We watched the leaves turn burnt orange and vibrant yellow as the cool evening air began to flush our cheeks.
In the winter, we ice skated on the ponds that dotted the properties around us, and by moonlight we'd sled down the giant hill on our road before the snowplows made it out that far, clearing away our slalom playground. Spring would arrive, and the dogwoods and cherry blossoms reminded us that the freedom of summer would soon be knocking on our door.
It wasn't fancy, but it was rich in all the ways that mattered. We were wild, and we were free.
